Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

1. Who we are

DigGems ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at diggems.dev and the DigGems desktop application (the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: email address, hashed password, display name, and authentication metadata (e.g. OAuth provider ID).
  • Wallet & billing: USDT (TRC-20) deposit addresses, on-chain transaction hashes, credit balance, and usage ledger entries.
  • Service data: the URLs, text, or prompts you submit for harvesting or sorting; job metadata; and the resulting email lists you generate. Your job data is visible only to you and to authorized DigGems staff for support and abuse investigation.
  • Support tickets: the messages you send us through the in-app support system, including attachments.
  • Device & log data: IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamps, and error/diagnostic events used to keep the Service secure and reliable.
  • Cookies & similar technologies: see Section 6 below.

3. How we use your data

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
  • Process USDT top-ups and credit your account on-chain confirmation.
  • Send transactional emails (magic link, password reset, harvest complete, low credits, support replies). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
  • Detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on: (a) contract — to provide the Service you signed up for; (b) legitimate interests — to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse; (c) consent — for optional cookies and any marketing communications; and (d) legal obligation — to satisfy tax, accounting, and law-enforcement requirements.

5. Sharing & processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with vetted processors that help us run the Service, including our cloud database and authentication provider, transactional email sender, and on-chain payment monitoring. Each processor is bound by a data-processing agreement and may only use the data for our instructions.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and equivalent local-storage entries. On your first visit we ask you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Categories:

  • Strictly necessary — session, authentication, CSRF, and load-balancing. Always on; the Service cannot function without them.
  • Preferences — remember your theme, language, and cookie choice.
  • Analytics — aggregated, privacy- preserving usage metrics to help us improve features. Only set if you accept.
  • Marketing — currently none. If we introduce them we will re-prompt for consent.

You can change your choice any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer or by clearing the diggems.cookie-consent entry in your browser storage.

7. Data retention

We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active and for up to 7 years after closure to satisfy accounting and anti-fraud requirements. Job results and harvested lists are kept until you delete them or close your account. Support tickets are kept for 24 months after closure.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@diggems.dev to exercise any of these rights. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data- protection authority.

9. Security

We encrypt data in transit (TLS) and at rest, isolate customer data with row-level security, and follow the principle of least privilege for staff access. No online service is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.

10. Children

DigGems is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Responsible use

You are responsible for ensuring that any outbound communication you send using data obtained through the Service complies with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, and other applicable anti-spam and privacy laws in your and the recipient's jurisdictions.

12. Changes to this policy

We will post any material changes here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised policy.
